Contracts utilised by WSROC councils as of March 2018 include:

 

1. Standing Offer Agreement for WR01-15/16 Mattress Collection and Processing Services

Contract commenced 01/07/2016 (2 years + 2 x 1 year options) with Great Lakes Community Resources (trading as) Resource Recovery Australia Level 2, 1 - 5 Manning St, Tuncurry NSW 2428.

 

2. Standing Offer Agreement for WR02 – 12/13 Handling & Treatment of Hazardous Waste Including Asbestos

Contract commenced on 1st November 2013 for three years with two one-year options. The WSROC group of councils took up the option of the final second - year extension under the same terms and conditions.

• Beasy Pty Ltd; RMA Contracting & Toxfree have taken up the option of the final second - year extension under the same terms and conditions,
• Affective Services however, did not formally take up the option of the first 1 year extension under the same terms and conditions, meaning that there is no contract in place with them.

 

3. Standing Offer Agreement for WR06 – 12/13 Pavement Marking Services

Contract commenced on 1st October 2013 for three years with two one-year options. The WSROC group of councils took up the option of the final second - year extension under the same terms and conditions.

Acceptances of the extension period for the final second - year was sought on the 18th September 2017.

Responses in the affirmative were received from Avante Linemarking and from Combined Traffic Management P/L; still awaiting a response from Complete Linemarking Services. Allstate Linemarking Services P/L on 18/09/17 declined, as a result of the review, company resources have been relocated from the Sydney depot at Wetherill Park to the head office depot in Ormeau Queensland.

 

4. General Office Supplies (WRQ01-12/13)

Contract commenced 01/07/2013 for 2 years + 2 x 1 year options).

This contract ended on 30th June 2017, before the conclusion of the LGP parent contract, Office Supplies & Janitorial (including; Heavy Duty Cleaning) & Associated Products (LGP1007-2). The LGP contract concluded on 14 January 2016 with the optional 2 x 12 month extensions subsequently taken up. A further special extension has been issued and this will end on 30 November 2018 OR until the upcoming tender is finalised, whichever is earliest.

COS formally agreed that to honour the existing WRQ01-12/13 terms & conditions for the duration of the LGP1007-2 Office Supplies & Janitorial (including; Heavy Duty Cleaning) & Associated Products contract and the advent of the new contract, if COS is successful.

This will allow the WSROC councils to execute a VendorPanel RFQ on the pending, new contract once it is in place. 

 

5. General Hardware and Janitorial Products (WR01-11/12) 

Contract commenced 19/03/2012 for 3 years + 2 x 1 year options) and ended on 18th March 2017. Blackwoods agreed to extend WR01-11/12 General Hardware Supplies contract under the existing terms and conditions to allow WSROC in due course to seek a RFQ via VendorPanel on the Industrial, Construction, Electrical and General Hardware & Materials (NPN1.16) contract.

The Industrial, Construction, Electrical and General Hardware (NPN1.16) contract has commenced and initially concludes on 30 June 2019 with optional [3] x [12] month extensions.

 

6. Road Rehabilitation and Asphalt Services (WR02-12/13)

Contract commenced on 1/1/2013 (3 years + 2 x 1-year options) and concluded on 31st December 2017. On expiry of this contract, use of the LGP213 Bitumen, Emulsions and Asphalt Materials and Services contract can be made.

The LGP213 Bitumen, Emulsions and Asphalt Materials and Services contract initially concluded on 29 February 2016 with the final option extension period to end on 28 February 2018. A special extension has been issued and this will end on 30 June 2018 OR until the scheduled tender is finalised and the new contract commences, whichever is the earliest.

 

7. Traffic Management Services (LGP113)

Contract initially concluded on 30 November 2015 with optional 2 x 12 month extensions.The final option available under the contract has been agreed to by the panel and the contract has been extended to 30 November 2017. A special extension has been issued and this will end on 30 June 2018 OR until the scheduled tender process is finalized and the new contract commences, whichever is the earliest.

This contract is utilised via a Vendor Panel RFQ in 2015. Companies (5) include Inco Traffic Management, Altus Traffic Pty Ltd; Orbital Traffic Management (Aus.) Pty Ltd; D&D Traffic Management & Site Group Pty Ltd.

 

8. HR Temporary Placements and Associated Services (LGP808-2)

Contract concluded on 30 November 2015 with optional 2 x 12 month extensions. This contract is utilised via a Vendor Panel RFQ in late 2015. Companies (5) include Local Government Appointments; Complete Staff Solutions Pty Ltd; Hays Specialist Recruitment (Australia) Pty Ltd; Drake Australia Pty Ltd and Allstaff Australia Pty Ltd.

The new Human Resources (HR) – Permanent and Temporary Placements and Associated Services (LGP808-3) contract has commenced and concludes on 30 November 2020 with optional 2 x 12 month extensions and a new RFQ via VendorPanel is being scoped.

 

9. Road and Traffic Signage, Associated Hardware and Roadside Products (LGP114)

Contract concludes on 28 February 2017, with optional 2 x 12 month extensions. The first option available under the contract has been agreed to by the panel and the contract has been extended to 28 February 2018.

This contract is utilised via a Vendor Panel RFQ in 2015. Companies (7) include Artcraft Pty Ltd; Barrier Signs Ltd; DeNeefe Signs Pty Ltd; HiViS Signs & Safety; Jaybro Civil & Safety Products (RMS); G&B Services (NSW) Pty Ltd & Delnorth Pty Ltd.
