pdf.png WSROC Options Analysis Summary Report HOT

Download

Western Sydney councils have developed the Western Sydney Regional Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy ‘The Regional Waste Strategy’ with milestone targets for recycling to reach 70% by 2021 and waste generation to reduce to below 7.8kg/capita/week by 2020/21.

With current recycling near 50% this requires an additional “20% to meet the gap”.

This options analysis forms part of the Waste Strategy works program 2014-17 and builds on an infrastructure needs assessment completed in August 2015 to determine how to meet the gap.
