Water in the Landscape is a WSROC initiative funded by the NSW Environmental Trust. The three year (2010-2012) environmental community engagement program aimed to involve Western Sydney-siders in water management issues.

The Program developed an innovative approach to environmental community engagement which combined deliberative consultation forums with funded cultural projects to connect with a new, unengaged segment of the Western Sydney community on water and water management issues.

The Program has been a resounding success. Approximately 13,500 people have been directly involved in the Program through the forums and cultural projects. And through the reach of social and traditional media the Program connected with another 40,000 Western Sydney residents.
