2019 Youth Advisory Council: Applications now open

Recruitment for the 2019 NSW Youth Advisory Council is now open.

The NSW Youth Advisory Council (YAC) plays an important role in guiding NSW Government youth affairs and providing a direct avenue of communication between young people and the NSW Government.

The YAC meets regularly throughout the year to provide advice to the Minister responsible for Youth, The Hon. Ray Williams MP and to the NSW Advocate for Children and Young People, Mr Andrew Johnson on issues, policies and laws that affect children and young people in NSW. YAC members are residents of NSW aged between 12-24 years, and are sought from diverse locations, backgrounds and life experiences.

Membership of the YAC is open to children and young people aged 12-24 residing in NSW.  Applications are sought from diverse locations, backgrounds and life experiences. 12 positions are available.
