WSROC Executive re-elected for another term

Media Release 23 November 2020, WSROC President, Clr Barry Calvert, has been returned for a third term, at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting at Crowne Plaza, Hawkesbury City Council last week.

All four members of the WSROC Executive Committee were returned to their positions, unchanged for another term. Joining Clr Calvert are Blacktown Mayor Clr Tony Bleasdale as Senior Vice President, Blue Mountains Councillor Don McGregor as Junior Vice President, and Liverpool Councillor Karress Rhodes as Treasurer.

President Clr Calvert expressed his pleasure in being re-appointed and for the opportunity of continuing the pursuit of WSROC’s priorities, saying, “It is an honour to take on this role again, to work with the WSROC executive and staff. Our advocacy, projects and partnerships are producing tangible, positive outcomes for the people of Western Sydney.

“I thank the WSROC Board for re-electing me as President for the next 12 months.”
