City of Parramatta and Cumberland Councils have appointed their first councillors to the WSROC Board, following local government elections in September.
WSROC President Cr Stephen Bali said “It is exciting to welcome councillors from Parramatta and Cumberland back to the WSROC Board after 18 months of administration.
"The local government amalgamations process was a time of significant uncertainty for many councils. This truely marks the end of that period and a return to business as usual.
“Lord Mayor Andrew Wilson, and Councillor Benjamin Barrak will represent City of Parramatta, while Cr Paul Garrard (formerly of Parramatta) and Cr George Campbell (formerly of Auburn) will represent Cumberland Council.
“All four councillors bring unique experience and knowledge to the Board, and I look forward to working with each of them," said Cr Bali.
