The Western Sydney Regional Organsiation of Councils' (WSROC) Heat Smart heatwave preparedness resources for community are now available in eight languages.

The Heat Smart resources outline key actions households can take to plan, prepare, respond and recover from heatwave events.

The pack includes three resources:

• Heat Smart over 65s
• Heat Smart parents
• 10 tips for a cooler home.

In addition to English, the resources are now available in eight languages including:

• Arabic
• Farsi
• Hindi
• Korean
• Serbian
• Simplified Chinese
• Tamil
• Vietnamese

These languages were chosen based on the needs of program partners.

Heat Smart Western SYdney has been funded under the Sate Government Natural Disaster Resilience Program.
